Job Description

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities from design through manufacturing to reduce cost and minimize risk in the manufacturing process. Use experience with SolidWorks and Fusion 360 to resolve design challenges, streamlining workflows. Use experience with Minitab and Python to analyze QA/QC excellence. Use experience with Lean Six Sigma optimizing manufacturing efficiency to improve quality assurance process. Use experience with RhinoCAM and CNC Machines to conduct process capability tests, establish standards, and validate process requirements to optimize performance, ensuring alignment with New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements for smooth transitions from R&D to manufacturing. Use experience with Instron, XRD, and Rockwell Hardness Tester (RHT) and advanced process techniques to conduct experiments focused on optimizing material performance, as well as designing and fabricating high-performance components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering, or related field;
  • 2 years of experience as Product Engineer or related job title;
  • Experience with SolidWorks and Fusion 360;
  • Experience with Minitab and Python;
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma optimizing manufacturing efficiency;
  • Experience with RhinoCAM and CNC Machines;
  • Experience with Instron, XRD, and Rockwell Hardness Tester (RHT).
